Positive: A fantastic stay with very kind and considerate hosts. Made us and our dog extremely welcome and could not have been more helpful in accommodating our needs. Fantastic base for a short trip in the Alentejo. We will return.

Positive: The breakfast was ok, not much variety but the essentials were there, the coffee was freshly made and very good. The quietness of the place, and the swimming pool. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great with good water pressure and temperature.

Negative: The description of the room mentioned a mini-fridge which didn't exist, maybe it was for a different room type, but would have been a nice touch to keep drinks cold in the very warm weather. The place is isolated and that would allow for some very cool stargazing, but with so much light at the property it wasn't really possible (I understand that less light might not be great for other guests, but maybe motion activated lights would not only save power but also allow for this...just an idea)

Summary: Recharge your batteries in a great rural setting.

Positive: Absolutely beautifully-appointed apartment with everything you could need. The bed was so comfortable - I don't think I've had a better one in all my travels. Air con was very effective and the bathroom/shower of a high standard. The two swimming pools on site were wonderful - one shallower and warmer, the other larger and deeper. Very peaceful at night, distant from the lights of towns, and glorious for star-gazing. Cesar and the rest of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and we were very sad to leave.

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: Beautiful and comfortable apartment in the heart of the countryside, with two gorgeous pools.
